Katalin Novák was inaugurated as the first female President of Hungary today amid a festive ceremony. The Head of State summarised the meaning of the war in Ukraine for Hungary in ten points and also announced that she would visit Warsaw on 17 May.
Call for Paper - 'Changing Chinese Travel Trends, Digitalization and Management'
The China-Central and Eastern European Countries' Tourism Coordination Centre has launched a call for proposals entitled 'Changing Chinese Travel Trends, Digitalization and Management' to confirm that the CEE region's interest in China remains undiminished despite the difficult situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. It also aims to enrich the CEE region's tourism knowledge base on China with the best applications and to serve as a starting point for new travel packages when Chinese tourism returns.
Attention to Students enrolled in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions
Within the framework of the Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) Programme, the Government of Hungary has established the Students at Risk Subprogramme which, upon successful application, provides Ukrainian and international students, citizens of SH partner countries, who had to flee Ukraine because of the war, with an opportunity to continue their studies, started in Ukraine, at Hungarian higher education institutions.

In 2021, Hungary had a number of achievements in the field of space research and industry. Space diplomacy is playing an increasingly important role in promoting Hungarian scientific and technological research and innovation, contributing to the development of Hungarian education and the strengthening of our space companies.
