From November 5, 2024, the English-Estonian exhibition Visionary Hungarians about Hungarian inventions and research can be visited in the Tallinn Botanic Garden. The exhibition opened on the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Science and the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, presenting the pioneering discoveries and outstanding inventions of Hungarian minds whose ideas changed the world.

Each panel features a Hungarian invention or innovation and a motto from the relevant scientist, researcher, or inventor, as well as a brief description of the scientific/innovative result and the person itself. The panels also include which Hungarian inventors received the Nobel Prize for their scientific achievements. Among other things, visitors can find interesting facts about how Hungary and Hungarians are connected to the design of the first Mars rover and the Ford Model T, or the invention of soda water and the ballpoint pen.

The exhibition can be visited in the Palm House during the opening hours of the Botanic Garden until Sunday, December 1.
